2006 – Composite Neuropsychological Tests

Schedule and Presentations 2006

This year’s theme is the application of psychometric methods to standard neuropsychological tests to create composite measures that are sensitive to longitudinal change associated with diseases of aging. The primary dataset for this conference will be a longitudinal study of effects on cognitive decline of cerebrovascular disease and Alzheimer’s disease. This study includes longitudinal neuropsychological assessment, longitudinal quantitative MRI, and Neuropathology

The emphasis of the 2006 workshop will be on training, addressing fundamentals of modern psychometric methods and statistical methodology for modeling longitudinal change. We will review the process of scale construction and validation that has been reported in previous manuscripts from this project. Like in the first two conferences, part of the workshop will be organized around workgroups that performs analyses related to scientific manuscripts with a goal of completing analyses during the week and organizing the workgroups for further interaction to complete the manuscripts.
